Key Actions:
" Increases Sexual Function " Increases Production of Hormones " Helps Against Depression
" Reduces Age Related Stress " Activates Immunity " Decreases Age Related Degenerative Diseases
" Increases Sexual Energy
Traditional & Current Uses:
Pregnenolone is a powerful hormone precursor produced from cholesterol in our adrenal glands, liver, skin, testicles, ovaries and brain. In clinical studies, Pregnenolone was helpful in reducing stress and fatigue. It was also reported to have broad beneficial potential for joint and tissue function and to contribute to skin elasticity.
Additional studies have shown that Pregnenolone inhibits the GABA receptors in brain cells, which may result in increased mental alertness and NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) receptors, which influence learning and memory.
Most of the studies on Pregnenolone have been related to it as a hormone. These studies suggest that Pregnenolone is a hormone balancer, in that, if levels of steroid hormone are low in body, Pregnenolone will increase those levels, whereas, if certain hormones are high, Pregnenolone will reduce the levels of excess circulating hormones. For instance, Pregnenolone may convert into DHEA, which in turn can be changed into testosterone, estrogens and other steroids, or it may converted into any or all of a chain of hormones, including progesterone. Because of the adaptogenic qualities, Pregnenolone will correct imbalances in levels of some hormones, while at the same time not effect those hormones that are in balance.
Directions: One dropperful is 5 mg. Use up to 6 drops a day which would be 30mgs per day.
What is it? 100% Liquid Pregnenolone 5mg per drop in a blue bottle to protect ingredients.
Pregnenolone serves as a precursor to other hormones, including dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and progesterone.
